Hell hath no fury-- like Christine!! (John Carpenter's version)
She was born in Detroit... on an automobile assembly line. But she is no ordinary automobile. Deep within her chassis lives an unholy presence. She is Christine- a red and white 1958 Plymouth Fury whose unique standard equipment includes an evil, indestructible vengeance that will destroy anyone in her way. She seduces 17-year old Arnie Cunningham, who becomes consumed with passion for her sleek, rounded, chrome-laden body. She demands his complete and unquestioned devotion and when outsiders seek to interfere, they become victims of Christine's horrifying wrath. |
Just another Lovers' Triangle, Right? (Stephen Kings version)
It was love at first sight. From the moment 17-year-old Arnie Cunningham saw Christine, he knew he would do anything to possess her. Arnie's best friend, Dennis, distrusts her-- immediately. Arnie's teen-queen girlfriend, Leigh, fears her the moment she senses her power. Arnie's parents, teachers, and enemies soon learn what happens when you cross her. Christine is no lady. She is Stephen King's ultimate, blackly evil vehicle of terror. |
A quick view
This site is all about Christine. Im 22 years old and have become obsessed by this movie, and have been since 18. The car is great-- and the idea of the car is a cool idea. I did not base my website specifically on just the movie or just the book as some websites do. But if you asked me which one I like better-- it would definatley be the movie.
